Scars Are
Part of the Journey...
Not all scars are visible; but each has wisdom to be unlocked.
You are more than your struggles.
Here, you’ll find a space where your story matters, your scars are honored, and your healing is possible. My role is not to judge or define you by addiction, but to walk alongside you as the whole, complex, and resilient person you are. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, restore hope, and build a path forward that feels true to you.
Because even the strongest
deserve a safe place
to fall apart
"Every step you take toward healing, no matter how small, requires immense courage and you are not walking this path alone. In this safe space, your story will be held without judgment as we transform your pain into the foundation for renewal."

Words of Wisdom
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7

Take a deep breath. Lean in to the unknown with courage, knowing God provides strength, love, and self-control.
Together, progress will be made.

About Laurél Kimpton
As an Integrative Wellness Specialist and Licensed Addiction Counselor, I lead with compassion and work with you holistically. Together, we'll uncover your core values, break through painful patterns, and create meaningful boundaries that support your journey to wellness. Your strength is greater than any struggle, and your path to recovery starts right here.

Services
This comprehensive assessment is designed to give you clarity about where you stand with substance use—no judgment, just honest insight. Together, we'll explore your relationship with alcohol or other drugs through evidence-based tools and an open conversation.

As an independent LADC, I'm not tied to any treatment facility, which means my only focus is what's truly right for you. You'll walk away with personalized recommendations that fit your life—whether that's self-monitoring strategies, brief support, treatment options, or other resources. My goal is simple: to help you understand your situation clearly and feel confident about your next steps forward. You deserve support that honors where you are and helps you get where you want to be.

You don't have to face this alone.

Whether you're walking the path of recovery or sensing that your relationship with substances is quietly shifting into something concerning, this space is for you. Here, there's no judgment—only understanding, clarity, and genuine support.

In our sessions together, we'll do more than talk. We'll uncover the patterns beneath the surface, understand what drives your choices, and create a roadmap that's uniquely yours—one that honors where you are right now and where you want to be.

Solo counseling is for you if:
-
You're committed to sustaining your recovery and need meaningful, ongoing support
-
You're noticing warning signs—increased use, shifting priorities, or a nagging feeling that things are heading in the wrong direction
-
You want to address your relationship with substances before it becomes something bigger
-
Group settings feel overwhelming, and you need the safety of one-on-one support to open up and do this work authentically

Recovery isn't linear. Healing isn't one-size-fits-all. But with the right support, real change is possible. Let's build that foundation together.
For Family & Friends:

You've tried everything. The pleading, the ultimatums, the logic that seems so obvious to everyone but them. You've lost sleep, shed tears, and felt the weight of their choices crushing your own life. You're exhausted from walking on eggshells, scared of saying the wrong thing, and heartbroken watching someone you love destroy themselves while you stand helplessly on the sidelines.

For Professionals:

You're managing their case, monitoring their compliance, or trying to get them the care they need—but nothing seems to stick. The missed appointments, failed drug tests, and broken promises are piling up. You know the system, but you're hitting walls trying to motivate real change. You need strategies that actually work with resistant clients, not just more paperwork documenting their failures.

Understanding changes everything.

Whether you're a family member, probation officer, attorney, healthcare provider, social worker, or employer, our Support Person Addiction Education gives you what frustration hasn't: proven strategies for effective intervention, communication tools that break through denial, and practical approaches to set boundaries that create accountability without triggering defensiveness.

Learn why traditional approaches often backfire—and discover what research shows actually helps.

Integrative Wellness Coaching Sessions
Real support for your whole self.

Feeling stretched thin or stuck in patterns that aren't working? You're not alone—and you don't have to navigate it by yourself.

In our sessions, we focus on you: your goals, your challenges, and what balance actually looks like in your life. We'll look at mind, body, and spirit together because lasting change happens when we address the whole picture, not just one piece.

Here's how it works:

We'll explore what you're working toward and what's been getting in the way. Maybe it's habits that no longer serve you, or maybe you're just not sure where to start. Together, we'll create practical strategies that fit your real life—no cookie-cutter plans.

Each session is a supportive conversation where you'll feel heard and understood. You'll walk away with clarity, actionable tools, and a renewed sense of what's possible for your well-being.

Your goals. Supported. Naturally.

Let's face it, group work in addiction treatment can be challenging! New people coming in...familiar facing leaving it's hard to genuinely open up and share with so much going on. We are working on creating a cohort type setting: everyone in the group starts at the same time, and leave at the same time. This minimizes distractions, helps participants to feel secure in what they are sharing, and allows space for participants to truly hear one another, allowing for genuine support and feedback. Check back often or give us a call to see when the Small Groups will be starting!
