Good Faith Estimate

​A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a document that provides you with an estimate of the expected charges for healthcare items and services. Under federal law, uninsured or self-pay patients have the right to receive a good faith estimate of costs before receiving care. This helps you understand what you may owe and plan accordingly.
