INDIGO RECOVERY LLC • Living Beyond It
Website Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: 09/2025 | Last Reviewed: 03/2026
We at Indigo Recovery LLC are working to make our site www.indigorecoveryllc.com accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Our Commitment to Accessibility
Indigo Recovery LLC is committed to making our website — www.indigorecovery.com — accessible to all people, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, motor, and neurological disabilities. Every person who visits our site deserves a barrier-free experience, whether they are exploring our services, completing intake forms, or reaching out for support.
Accessibility is an expression of our values — compassionate, dignified care begins the moment someone first encounters our practice online.
Legal Framework
The following laws and standards inform our approach. Because Indigo Recovery LLC is a solo, private-pay telehealth practice with no physical office that clients visit, the applicable legal landscape is specific to our structure:

Minnesota Human Rights Act (MHRA) — Minn. Stat. §363A
The MHRA is our most directly applicable obligation. It prohibits disability discrimination by any business offering goods or services to the public in Minnesota — with no minimum employee threshold, making it applicable to solo practices. Minnesota courts have extended MHRA protections to websites and digital services. This law covers Indigo Recovery LLC regardless of our size or telehealth-only model.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — Title III
ADA Title III covers private businesses that operate as places of public accommodation. As a telehealth-only practice with no physical location that clients visit, the application of Title III to our standalone website involves genuine legal nuance: the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, which governs Minnesota, has not issued a definitive ruling establishing that websites without a physical nexus are covered places of public accommodation under Title III.
That said, we recognize this area of law is evolving and voluntarily commit to digital accessibility consistent with Title III’s nondiscrimination principles. Note: ADA Title I (employment non-discrimination) does not apply, as it has a 15-employee minimum threshold.

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and HHS Final Rule (2024)
Section 504 and the 2024 HHS Final Rule (requiring WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance for digital content) apply specifically to organizations that receive federal financial assistance. Indigo Recovery LLC is a private-pay practice and does not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal funding. These rules do not currently impose a direct obligation on our practice. We reference them as best-practice guidance and will reassess if our funding model changes.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA — Our Technical Standard
Regardless of the specific legal obligations above, we have voluntarily adopted WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our accessibility target. This is the internationally recognized benchmark, organized around four principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust. It is the standard referenced by the ADA, MHRA, and federal agencies, and it reflects our genuine commitment to serving all users equitably.

No content that flashes more than three times per second

Known Limitations and Ongoing Remediation
While we work toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, some content may not yet meet every success criterion. We conduct ongoing reviews and prioritize fixes based on user impact.
We do not rely solely on third-party accessibility overlay tools as a substitute for substantive remediation. Such tools may improve certain aspects of usability but do not constitute full legal or technical compliance.
Requests, issues, and suggestions
If you encounter barriers on our website, cannot access content in a format that works for you, or need information provided in an alternative format, please reach out. We are committed to responding promptly and ensuring you can access the information or services you need.
