DUI Addiction Education Programs

More than a checkbox. Professionally developed DUI education designed to address what courts, probation, and employers expect — delivered with the depth, privacy,

and the compassion you deserve.

Police Cars at Night

A DUI changes things. What happens next is up to you.

A DUI can feel like the ground shifting beneath your feet — especially when you've worked hard to build a career, a reputation, and a life that looks put-together from the outside. There's the legal process to navigate, yes. But for many people, there's also a quieter, more honest question underneath all of it:

Has my substance use been more of a problem than I've been willing to admit?

If you're asking that question, you're in the right place.

Indigo Recovery's DUI Addiction Education Programs were designed for people who want more than a required course to complete. They're built for people who are ready — or getting ready — to take a real, informed look at their relationship with alcohol and other drugs.

What These Programs Cover

These aren't slideshows and multiple-choice quizzes. Indigo Recovery's programs are substantive, clinically grounded, and built around the kind of content courts, probation officers, and attorneys look for — because understanding why a DUI happens matters just as much as fulfilling a requirement.

Across the program, you'll explore:

  • The physiology of alcohol and/or other drugs and how it affects your brain, body, and decision-making

  • The connection between stress, high achievement, and high-functioning alcohol use

  • How addiction develops — and why willpower alone usually isn't the answer

  • The stages of change and where you are in your own process

  • Compassionate Inquiry to peer into the root cause for your desire to resolve your unmet needs using substances

  • Tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for managing triggers and making different choices

  • The real financial, legal, professional, and relational consequences of continued use

  • A personalized plan for what comes next

Why Private Matters

You've spent years protecting your professional reputation. The last thing you need is to walk into a group DUI class with someone from your industry, your neighborhood, or your LinkedIn network.

Indigo Recovery's programs are conducted one-on-one, via secure telehealth, on a schedule that works around your professional life. Your participation stays between you and your clinician.

Who This Is For

This program is a good fit if you:

  • Have received a DUI and want thorough, documentable education on substance abuse and addiction

  • Are working with an attorney or probation officer and want to demonstrate initiative and seriousness

  • Have been privately concerned about your drinking for a while — and a recent legal event has made that harder to ignore

  • Want to understand your relationship with alcohol in a real way, not just check a box

  • Are desiring privacy, to stay out of the lime-light, or have social anxiety that would prevent you from fully opening up and addressing the pain underneath
